RTM Manager will be responsible for designing and executing the company’s national Route-to-Market (RTM) strategy, optimizing the full commercial route from factory to consumer; will lead data-driven channel planning, distributor network optimization, and execution management to enhance market coverage, improve sales efficiency, and ensure a competitive edge across all channels.

Key Responsibilities:

1. RTM Planning and Channel Strategy

  • Design and implement national RTM models and channel strategies aligned with business priorities.
  • Develop differentiated distribution models based on market tiers, consumption habits, and regional maturity.
  • Formulate short-, mid- and long-term digitalization roadmaps.
  • Monitor competitors’ RTM strategies and continuously refine company channel approaches.

2. RTM Project Execution and Deployment

  • Lead RTM project rollout across headquarters and regions.
  • Coach regional sales teams on new RTM models and evaluate customer quality and performance.
  • Drive distributor digital transformation (system integration, inventory visibility, standardized data collection);
  • Resolve cross-regional channel conflicts such as price wars or unauthorized trading.

3. Distributor Network Optimization

  • Plan and optimize the national distributor and sub-distributor network for coverage and efficiency.
  • Establish distributor capability assessment and tiered management system.
  • Develop distributor incentive schemes and performance management mechanisms.

4. RTM Innovation and Emerging Channels

  • Explore and promote new channel opportunities (e.g., OTO warehouses, snack chains……);
  • Develop national guidelines for emerging channels and monitor regional execution.

5. Sales Operation and Performance Management

  • Analyze sales data (Sell-in/Sell-out, distribution rate, ROI) to identify issues and recommend improvements.
  • Manage RTM-related budgets and optimize ROI on channel investments.

6. Data Analytics and Risk Management

  • Conduct market visits and performance analysis to identify opportunities and potential risks.
  • Build risk management and early warning systems for channel stability.
  • Provide regular business insights and recommendations to senior management.

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Minimum 8 years in the FMCG industry, with at least 5 years of RTM or channel management experience.
  • Prior experience in both headquarters’ strategy roles and regional/frontline sales management.
  • Distributor management, SFE, DSR, or channel digitalization experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical and business insight capabilities.
  • Excellent logical thinking, project management, and cross-functional communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using PPT, Excel, and AI tools for analysis and reporting.
  • Fluent English reading and writing skills for cross-regional collaboration.
