• Responsible for the administrative and operational management of the Category Customer Marketing Team deployed for the Greater China
• Partner with Marketing and Sales in the timely execution of category specific platform driven commercialization and Base/Expand initiatives
• Develop Customer Marketing Team in both skills and capabilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Trade Plan Development

  • Develop comprehensive trade plans by integrating with brand marketing plan and sales targets. These plans will be tailored by category and channel to maximize effectiveness and ensure alignment with overall business objectives. Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of trade plans, making adjustments as needed to optimize results.​

Channel Management

  • Manage trade marketing activities for different channels, including but not limit to highper, super, CVS, mini, TT. This includes understanding the unique characteristics and requirements of each channel, developing targeted strategies to drive sales, and ensuring that marketing initiatives are effectively implemented in these channels.​

Store Communication and POSM Management

  • Maintain effective communication with stores to ensure that they are well-informed about marketing campaigns, promotions, and product updates. Manage the development, distribution, and placement of Point-of-Sale Materials (POSM) to enhance in-store visibility and drive customer engagement.

New Product Development (NPD) CMKT Support

  • Play a key role in the NPD process by identifying the target audience, appropriate channels, and potential customers for new products. Provide insights and recommendations to the product development team based on market trends, customer needs, and channel characteristics to ensure that new products are positioned for success.​

Strategic Shop Management and Implementation

  • Responsible for the maintenance of strategic stores, ensuring that these stores can fully showcase the brand image and achieve sales targets. Supervise the implementation of store operations, including product display, the conduct of promotional activities, etc. Reasonably arrange the store's share and island cabinet layout to maximize product exposure and sales opportunities.

Cross Team Collaboration and Influence

  • Collaborate and influence the sales team to push targeted marketing content from customer marketing point of view, share customer feedback with the product team to drive product iteration.

Promotion & Activity Budget Management

  • Efficient allocation of relevant promotion by activity and securing sales commitment for execution targets and scope. Tracks sales execution for learning and agile adjustments and monitor pacing within budget.

Processes

  • Supports Marketing Director in key areas like selection of projects, initiatives, prioritization and allocation of resources (promotions, mix component of trade spend, etc.),
  • Partner with Finance, M&C in the development of price increase recommendation in line with DPM and Pricing Strategy

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.​
  • Proven 8+ years of experience in customer marketing/trade marketing/shopper marketing etc, preferably in a similar industry.​
  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles, with a focus on customer marketing strategies and tactics.​
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal teams, stores, and key accounts.​
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.​
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.​
  • Proficiency in English and local language.
