Associate Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis

The purpose of this role is to be the key business partner with the Marketing Commercial teams and Sales teams to grow key category and overall Net Revenue Management (Pricing) initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Good understanding of category business in multi-channels, lead financial analysis in support of the marketing commercialization teams including analysis for new product launches, product launch post completion analysis, long term category planning with the platform and pricing analysis.

  • Drive Profit & Lose improvement through mix analysis, SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) reduction, ROI (Return On Investment) analysis on marketing spend, pricing etc.

  • Drive Net Sales and share through competitive response plans, share growth plans, and base business growth plans.

  • Perform month-end activities including managing, accruing, and reconciling agency fees and marketing expenses.

  • Lead Pricing Council and perform weekly review with General Manager, Cluster Finance, Cluster Commercial teams, and Global Finance team on Product Pricing across channels to ensure compliance on minimum promoted price guidelines and brand pricing strategy.

  • Work with Global Finance and Cluster Marketing team to develop brand pricing strategy, including price increase cadence, market price index evaluations, define price value curve to be leveraged on price pack introductions, and leverage price piano to maximize consumer reach.

  • Forecast and track Net Revenue Management initiatives benefits on a monthly basis.

  • Perform Ad-hoc analysis from Cluster Commercial teams and or the Cluster Finance Director.

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • Above 5 years’ work experience  

  • Bachelor’s degree and above

  • Must be a self-starter, highly analytical, with sound decision-making skills

  • Well versed in finance and pricing concepts, including P&L knowledge, ROI, Trade Spending, Customer profitability and Elasticity

  • Previous experience in Big4 is preferred
